Access Network Senior Engineer is needed in TEData

Responsibilities:

· To understand the current TE Data Access network technologies applied with all offered service.
... · To revise access service SLAs and measures.
· To suggest use of quality/service assurance reports to find a way to control troubles and optimize network performance.
· To enhance and facilitate the tools used to monitor/control network operation.
· To translate that new projects/setup to a way of operation and troubleshooting steps and knowledge; then communicate this information to NOC.
· To train and evaluate employees, addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions.
· To perform any other duties requested by the Direct Manager.

Candidate Specification:
· From 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience
· MS Office Application
· Windows Application
· Possesses wide base of experience in many disciplines of information technology including:
· Strong Hands-On experience with Access Technologies PPP, DSLAMs [multi vendors]
· Alcatel/Huawei DSLAM operations and management
· WAN circuit experience is a must
· Telecommunications and Telephony
· Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Visio [access network drawing]
· IP-4 knowledge
· Professional in Technical documentation is preferred.
· Cisco CCIP (Cisco Certified Internetworks Professional) [BCRAN, Switching]
· CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) is preferred [QoS] , Alcatel / Huawei is optional

Responsibilities:
· Designs, develops, maintains, monitors, and continuously improves TE Data solutions
· Perform various types of OS installations and managing (Linux/Unix/Windows)

· Support, Performance monitoring, reporting, and tuning databases
· Responds quickly and effectively to meet customers’ needs
· Treats customers with courtesy, respect, and concern
· Provides notifications, escalations, status updates, and problem reporting as required

· Installs, configures, and administers various systems
· Developing, write plug-ins and scripts to integrate various systems.
· Perform systems backups and recovery procedures.

· Uses strong troubleshooting skills in isolating and solving problems
· Keeping up to date with latest technology (hardware, software, apps).
· Participates in on-call rotation and responding to afterhours alerts

To develop and organize training manuals/ guides and course materials, and update it as necessary.
